Recognizing Excellence In Macomb
Macomb Beautiful Association believes that recognizing and celebrating the people who make our community more beautiful is just as important as the planting and maintenance work itself. Our awards programs honor the dedication, creativity, and pride that residents, businesses, and volunteers bring to Macomb every day.
Beautification Awards
The Annual Beautification Awards is one of Macomb Beautiful’s longest-standing traditions and continues to be one of its most anticipated events. Each year, residential and commercial properties throughout Macomb are nominated for their outstanding landscaping and beautification efforts. MBA members carefully review the nominations and select winners who exemplify the kind of community pride that makes Macomb a wonderful place to live and work.
Winners are recognized during an annual reception held each October at the Macomb Arts Center. In 2025, nineteen residential and business properties were nominated, with six residences and two businesses selected as winners. The event is a joyful celebration of the community’s collective commitment to beauty and livability.

2025 Margaret Stover
Award Winner
Lana Stocker
The prestigious Margaret Stover Award is presented each year to an MBA member who has demonstrated exceptional dedication and service to the organization. This award honors long-time contributions to community beautification and is always a highlight of the annual recognition events — often a surprise to the recipient.
Lana Stocker was named the 2025 recipient of Macomb Beautiful Association’s Margaret Stover Award. The honor recognizes exceptional dedication and service to the association. Lana was surprised with the award during MBA’s September 2025 beautification awards gathering at the Macomb Arts Center.
MBA President Barb Knox recognized Lana as a dependable, hands-on volunteer who contributes to projects throughout the year. Whether she is planting, weeding, relocating plants, or stepping forward to serve on the board, Lana brings a generous spirit and a willingness to help wherever she is needed. Macomb Beautiful Association is grateful for Lana’s commitment to caring for the community and proud to recognize her service with the 2025 Margaret Stover Award.
